“Moments and we’ll be back after the break”.
We all need to catch a break in the ever-speeding race with time, but what we don’t realize is that these breaks are forced upon us most of the times and while we think ourselves catching a breath, we’re really just catching up.
This simple sentence that we hear over and over throughout our lives takes on an absurd meaning. Moments of uninvited hindrance stretch between moments of needed entertainment. Both of which help us flee the dreaded present moment. It’s not what’s after the break that matters. It’s these moments. It’s the now.
I approached the concept in 2 different ways, the first uses the eye to imply a pseudo-hypnotic state while the second imitates the black and white tv static.
